About Us

ReconstratA, LLC is a privately-owned company based in Baltimore, MD. We seek to develop innovative engineering solutions for various applications in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as initiatives in other aspects of healthcare and beyond. 

Our goal is to identify areas of opportunity for the development and advancement of healthcare worldwide through simple, user-friendly solutions. Our diverse team gives us a unique perspective to generate research goals and execute product development in an efficient, agile, and quality-minded manner.

Angelo A Leto Barone, MD
​Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Leto Barone is a native of Sicily, where he attended the University of Palermo Medical School and completed Plastic Surgery Residency. He continued his training in Plastic Surgery at the Johns Hopkins and University of Maryland Program, followed by fellowships in Acute Burn and Burn Reconstruction at Johns Hopkins Bayview, and Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic Surgery at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. He is current a Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic Surgeon on staff at Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, FL, and an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Central Florida.

His research interests include transplant immunology, stem cell biology and medical device design. Clinically, he has a strong interest in pediatric plastic surgery, international medicine, and  healthcare disparities.

Anirudh Arun, MD
​Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Arun, originally from Medfield, MA,  is a current senior resident in Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He received his B.S. in Biological Engineering in 2013 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his M.D. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2017.

​He specializes in image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with endovascular and percutaneous approaches. He has a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship in medical devices, as well as the growing role for artificial intelligence in healthcare.

Georges Samaha, MD
Chief Financial Officer
Dr. Samaha is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, trained in General Surgery and Hand Surgery, and is currently training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Miami Hospital. Dr. Samaha has also been an avid entrepreneur for the past decade with multiple investments in healthcare, communications, real estate, architecture, and engineering sectors. Dr. Samaha strongly believes in the development of innovative medical technology for the transformation of healthcare and improving the health of people worldwide.
